Pauline Thurn und Taxis
I am a photographer with a lifelong passion for capturing quiet, intimate moments. My work balances photojournalistic instinct with a reflective, personal vision, seeking to evoke emotion in the viewer. I shoot primarily with a Leica Q3, embracing its flexibility to follow the moment wherever it leads.
Trained in photojournalism in Belgium in the 1990s, I began with analog photography and have evolved through digital and mirrorless systems, always staying connected to the world of images. My photography often reflects social awareness and a subtle sense of melancholy, combining professional skill with a commitment to telling meaningful stories.
Whether for assignments, reportage, or personal projects, I aim to create images that speak for themselves — thoughtful, emotional, and true to the moment.
